Dear mothers,


Congratulations on your pregnancy! It may have been quite the journey or a surprise to have been gifted this miracle, however you came here the awe of what is happening never ceases to amaze us all. Now is such a precious time to establish practices and rituals to support yourself as you support the world that is growing within you! 


This package came together while I was pregnant with my second child in 2020. While creating a new world internally, a new world was also being formed around me with the demand for online teaching with the presence of the COVID 19 virus. I decided to record some physical practices that I was finding particularly useful in supporting me. I began filming in my 3rd trimester so the pace and practice is suitable for whatever stage of pregnancy you are presenting with. I had the intention of keeping the physical practice no longer than 30 mins so you have time after to sit and meditate and take a nourishing savasana. Movement and rest are as equally important for keeping you energised and well rested. 


For all of these physical practices you may find it useful to have two blocks, a blanket and a bolster. The props can just give you more options to explore the limitations that have come with such generous and beautiful expansion of your form to hold this baby! 


As with all movement and physical activity, you must listen to your body to what is safe and supportive for you. Stop if you feel pain or discomfort and know you can modify and adjust the poses to suit you. If you are uncertain about any of the practice and if it is suitable for you, please consult your healthcare practitioner for further guidance.
